Figure It Out Friday: The Top 5 Things I Left Off the Previous Lists

You can click on each one to see the list it belongs to.

5. boneless honey BBQ wings at Buffalo Wild Wings This is no more embarrassing than the things I remembered to include so who knows why I temporarily forgot how much I love me some wings?

4. “Piano Man” by Billy Joel It’s about a piano bar, for crying out loud. There’s “tonic and gin,” and there are “businessmen who slowly get stoned.” Of course this is a drinking song! Plus, the chorus just begs to be belted out with one arm around your best friend and the other around your drink.

3. Daphne du Maurier by Margaret Forster I was going through my overdue fines from the library and I realized that I read this between Run River and The Year of Magical Thinking. It was very good and warrants mentioning. The BBC made it into movie which aired on LOGO last weekend. I TiVo’d it but haven’t gotten a chance to watch it yet. I hope it’s as good as the book.

2. Diane Lane I don’t know how this happened, honey. Please forgive me.

1. Any Day Now This omission is just plain ridiculous. What was I thinking? It should be #2 or #3. It was on Lifetime, but it should’ve been on Showtime. On Lifetime, it was good; on Showtime, it would’ve been spectacular.
