Today we went to this charming burg in West Virginia called Shepherdstown, and on the way we passed through Harpers Ferry. (Yes, it really looks like the photo on its Wikipedia page.) Here is a photo essay of the day. Bethany gets photo credit for every single one because I have acquired a cold, and it took all my energy to stay upright today.
These first three Bethany took out the car window as we drove through Harpers Ferry.
This next batch is from strolling around Shepherdstown and includes the public library and a weirdly small house. (No, I have not become a giant.)
Finally, check out the scenic river. I promise there is a river down there somewhere.
